Why four boards need four separate trackers

In Quordle, every guess you type is checked against all four hidden answers simultaneously, but each board gives you back its own independent green, yellow, and gray feedback, because each board's answer is different. That's why this tool gives each board its own inputs rather than one shared set. Merging the clues from four different answers into a single tracker would produce results that don't actually match any individual board.

Under the hood, each board runs the exact same solving engine as our standalone Wordle Solver: four separate, independent runs, not new logic.

A practical approach: solve your closest-to-finished board first, the one with the most green letters filled in, since narrowing it down frees up mental space to focus on the boards with less information. Many strong Quordle players also deliberately pick opening guesses that spread common letters across positions, since one guess needs to extract useful signal from four boards at once, not just one.

If a board returns a very long list, add any letter you're confident about to the gray field, even ones you're not fully sure of. Narrowing down false leads early tends to save more guesses than waiting for perfect certainty.

How it works

1
Pick a board to update.

After each guess, update the green, yellow, and gray letters for each of the four boards based on that board's own feedback.

2
Solve each board independently.

Press "Solve this board" under whichever board you want results for. Each one runs separately from the others.

3
Repeat as you gather more clues.

As you make more guesses, keep updating each board's letters. The result list narrows with every new constraint.

Common questions

How is Quordle different from Wordle for solving purposes?

Quordle uses the same green, yellow, and gray feedback as Wordle, but you're solving four separate 5-letter answers at the same time, using the same sequence of guessed words across all four boards. Each board needs its own set of constraints tracked separately, since the feedback for each one is independent.

Why are there four separate input sections?

Because each board has a different secret word, the same guess produces different results on each board. Tracking them separately is the only accurate way to solve; combining all four boards' clues into one set would produce wrong results.

Do I need to fill in all four boards at once?

Not at all. Fill in whichever boards you have information for. A board with no letters entered simply shows the full pool of five-letter words until you add constraints.

Can I use my Wordle strategy for Quordle?

Yes, with one adjustment. Since you're managing four boards with the same guesses, opening words that maximize common-letter coverage matter even more, because every guess needs to extract useful information from four different answers at once.

How many possible answers exist per board?

Each board draws from the same pool of 3,568 five-letter words used by our Wordle Solver, since Quordle uses standard 5-letter answers.

Is solving all four boards harder than one Wordle?

Mechanically, no. Each board is solved with the same logic as a single Wordle. The difficulty in Quordle comes from tracking four boards' worth of information at once, which is exactly what this tool is built to help with.

Should I always use the same guess word on all four boards?

In real Quordle, yes, your guesses are shared across all boards by the game itself. This tool matches that: enter each board's resulting green, yellow, and gray letters separately even though the guess word was the same one everywhere.

What if two boards end up with the same answer?

That can happen, since Quordle picks its four answers independently and duplicates aren't excluded. Solve each board on its own regardless; the tool doesn't need to know whether boards share an answer.
